Saved by the Belt

Samantha L. Gallagher was awarded the Saved
by the Belt award after she was involved in a crash on April 23rd, 2010.
She was stopped in traffic on Roberts Road about 50 feet south of 95th
Street when a vehicle rear-ended her, pushing her vehicle into another
car which was directly in front of her. She had damage to her vehicle in
excess of $7,000 but she was wearing her seat belt and she came away
from the crash without a scratch. The Saved By The Belt award recognizes
drivers who through no fault of their own were involved in serious car
crashes which, had they not been wearing their safety belt, they would
have resulted in serious injuries.
